Tree story 6

So um... I should explain a few things here... :V

This says the gist of this story: [link] (saves me time explaining... pfff lazy.)

As for these pictures...



The top 2 were actually colored with acrylic paint... I just did it straight up with the paint without sketching it first to see how it'd turn out... (I was helping my sister with a few paintings so I was just kind of playing around with the paint on the side... :I )

This is more of the design I settled with for Elaine... (I had some other pages before this though with a more accurate design, but they weren't finished yet... derp... soon though...) I wanted her hair to be more of a strawberry blonde though... :V (I kind of messed up on here hair regardless though... it was pretty much this color and it looked super pretty and awesome... but then I tried to make it lighter like I wanted it to... but I effed it up cuz I'm not used to working with paints... :V And I was very sad... oh well... it doesn't look terrible or anything at least...


As for the rest of the bottom there... C8 hehehe

I can't believe this is the first time I started drawing tree-man (still nameless... :C) in his more human disguise. pffff

And well... honestly he was looking pretty old as a tree man and I was worried about that... I mean I didn't want him to be super handsome, ya know?... So I gave a shot at him looking a bit more human with still all his other features in mind and I was like...

I also realized though... that I haven't actually said much about his character though...

I don't really want to give away too much, but just know that he technically is a human and is actually an artist. :'I He likes to paint... and stuff... So he's pretty good at disguising himself...

He's actually quite an intelligent and educated individual. He knows the ways of the world. He's not ignorant, but he's still pretty innocent concerning some things... He catches on pretty fast to things though...

Also... it actually takes him quite some effort to look "publicly presentable"... (trees can get pretty gangly and and nasty looking if not kept accordingly...) and it's best to keep him away from large amounts of water... He tends to absorb it whether he wants to or not, which he has to either transfer through his body as more mass or more branches... Either way his disguise will be quickly thrashed. :V

And he's a Christian. :'I (adds to the irony... and it just felt really appropriate for him honestly...)
