More Crippley/Handicapped!Wheatley.

It’s been ages since I’ve actually drawn him. This is just how I see him in the canon of the game based on all the dialogue and whatnot honestly… Also, something I added was that he only has one optic that seems to work properly, which is why one is dimmer and just looks more normal. His working one doesn’t even work that well alone and the other one is practically blind, and this is why he also needs to use the glasses. (sort of a reference back to his one optic as a core)

You may wonder what’s the purpose of having such a dysfunctional robot who’s damaged enough to not even walk or even see properly by himself, but I think you just answered your question there. He’s Wheatley. He’s just a crippling core. His whole purpose is to burden you and bring you down. It’s not his intention, but he physically and mentally will infect you down to his level. Like a tumor.

Also, plot twist:

Crippley becomes NB.

Oooooooh


Also, it was drawn on paper, but I touched it up way more than I thought I would in photoshop.. derp.

Dang....... That's a depressingly accurate metaphor. The fact that he's crippled and what you said about the point of having a dysfunctional robot... it really does fit. If he were an android, that is.

It's a very interesting interpretation of humanoid Wheatley. ^_^ But so much more dramatic and saaad... ;_; <3

Urrggghhh that panel in which GLaDOS crushes him . . . I'm gonna pretend the blue blood coming out of his mouth is not actually blood and just electrical sparks . . . T_T Poor baby . . .

Heehee. Wheats in a wheelchair. Makes me wonder what would happen if he somehow got a hold of some propulsion gel. XD
